Notre Dame Garden

Gardens of Notre Dame, Jardin Jean XXVIII, Paris

When I saw this scene, I had to stop and spend some time in this little garden right next to the magnificent cathedral of Notre Dame.

What a visual feast we had just encountered unexpectedly!

The patterns and shapes were inviting me to photograph them, and the colors were perfectly suited for an autumn garden!

Beautiful dahlia cultivars with showy daisy-like flowerheads in all shades and combinations of white, yellow, orange, pink and red.

Striking blue morning glories

The Amaranthus caudatus 'Hot Biscuit's' orange contrasting dramatically with the juicy green grass.

We enjoyed a good hour here, taking many pictures.
