Giverny Grounds

The Grounds Around Monet's Home in Giverny

As we left Monet's home and walked back to the van,

these are some of the scenes we passed.

So much beauty in ordinary things!

Just a little shop along the way.

Perfect spot for a little painting....

or visiting!

Even a simple wall and gate looked splendid there!

Cafe along the way

Water Lilies in barrels in the gardening/greenhouse area

Just loved this bed of blooming dahlias

The road leading to the house and the Lily Pond

Hay bales on the property

A huge flower garden surrounding the pasture

Quaint fence and garden in front of a little shop

The garden along with fresh cut flowers for sale

  1. Just enjoyed his paintings of hay bales at the Chicago Art Institute - loved seeing the picture of them! Beautiful post!
